update.post script
hi

During installation of sles9 sp2 from driver update disk. update.post script will completes it's job but if i check in ps -e it will show it's still running.

what may be the reason

SuSE made a timeout for start-up scripts, after which they will be backgrounded, seemingly because they don't want users to think the machine locked up. It's still the same with SLES 10. No need to worry, the script will still run the same.

this leads to system hang, it will stuck in install boot manager.

if i kill that process then it will start the process.
