can't change password

I have no "/etc/rc.config.d/namesvrs" directory on any of my solaris machine.

I have tried all suggestion but no luck

Any more suggesstions please?

The only things I can now advise is to make sure you have set the right filepermissions in /var/yp/src. Try to compair them with your other machines.
Maybe copy-ing over the passwd-files again manualy or a force update from the master could help.

It's quiet clear there is something wrong in getting the right files to open. Still a truss as user root should give you output, I cannot believe that you still get the same error.

I reported the problem to Sun and Sun advice me to install the following patches

113475-02
113476-08
113319-11
113482-01
113483-02


This solved the problem
