get into the bios either by holding delete or another key during POST. it should say press <somebutton> to enter the bios. press that button and look for a menu option to change the boot order. then set it to boot from cdrom first. or, call and find out what the root password is and try whatever unix is on your computer! you will for sure learn alot more, and you might like doing things for your self wiht your computer.

sounds like if you turn it on and befor it does anything you get a login and password prompt you need to reset the bios.

you can call the manufacture or check there site for the instructions on how to do this.
