an ignite server for Solaris 8 ?

I know and used an ignite server for hp-ux, but is there such a beast for Solaris flavour of unix ?

I believe if you ask someone who knows both well, they would say "No". Ignite has many more features than any one product on Solaris.

Install HP-UX 10.x, 11.0 and 11i on multiple systems in your network.
- use jumpstart - no gui

Create custom install configurations.
- use jumpstart - no gui - shell scripts

Recover HP-UX systems remotely.
- use 3rd party product such as Networker and jumpstart.

Monitor system-installation status.
- None on Solaris that give any real indication (although it could be added to jumpstart I would think)
