Power Media Centre for Fedora doable??

Greetings,
I am wondering if someone can tell me name of an application, which gives me the ability of sharing and streaming video and music over my LAN?
You may compare this to the media centre in Windows 7. I have my blueray player connected to my network and I want to share my avi files over the network in order to watch them on my TV.
How should I do that?

You might want to take a look at MythTV or Mythbuntu, which is a Ubuntu spin centered around MythTV.

MythTV is a set of applications and daemons ("services") that can run on any Linux distributions. Mythbuntu is like Fedora as it has to be installed separately on a machine, but it relieves you of much of the configuration.
