my menu in kde or gnome has dissaperred from me all i got is the foot or k botten and serch,and a few other things not my other menu stuff but in ice i got all my menu stuff how do i fix this problem so all my menus is all gui work in kde or gnome i can move around but in shell only and if i want to use the home as a way around i can but not all stuff work in it so i use shell and in kde my home will not work please please help me is it a check mark or is it more than that ..
i tryed to edit my menus in kde and gnome will not work the last thing is i want to is wipe my hda1 and hda2 wich are 45%full on 1 and 99% full other

my os is mandrake 9.1 re

your post is REALLY hard to follow. in KDE if you right click on the menu button, there is an option to click on that says menu editor. try looking at that.
