Atmospheric Turbulence Degraded Image Restoration by Kurtosis Minimization

HPL-2008-214 Atmospheric Turbulence Degraded Image Restoration by Kurtosis Minimization - Li, Dalong; Simske, Steve
Keyword(s): blur identification, atmospheric turbulence, image restoration, kurtosis.
Abstract: Atmospheric turbulence is caused by the random fluctuations of the refraction index of the medium. It can lead to blurring in images acquired from a long distance away. Since the degradation is often not completely known, the problem is viewed as blind image deconvolution or blur identification. Our ...

Hi, I have two sets of image files. Both sets have names A to Z but set 1 ends with .cdt.png and set 2 ends with .matrix.png. I want set 1 to match with set 2 if the names match (i.e. A.cdt.png will match with A.matrix.png) and with the convert image tool (program for images), it will merge the... (6 Replies)

NAME
Gtk2::Gdk::Image - wrapper for GdkImage DESCRIPTION
A "Gtk2::Gdk::Image" is a 2-D array of pixel values in client-side memory. It can optionally use shared memory with the X server for fast copying to or from a window or pixmap. If you're thinking of using this then look at "Gtk2::Gdk::Pixbuf" first. GdkPixbuf has many more features, in particular file read and write (PNG, JPEG, etc). But a GdkImage lets you work directly in pixel values instead of expanding to RGB components. See Gtk2::Gdk::Drawable for "draw_image", "get_image" and "copy_to_image" methods to draw or fetch images to or from a window or pixmap. The various "get" methods are Gtk 2.22 style. For previous versions they're direct field access. HIERARCHY
