Libre Graphics Meeting raising funds for developer travel

The annual conclave of free graphics software developers, users, and artists known as the Libre Graphics Meeting (LGM) is set for May 8-11 in Wroclaw, Poland, this year. LGM organizers are holding a fund-raising campaign this week to help volunteer developers travel to the event.
It's been a few years since this topic was last asked and answered.. curious whether anyone knows if the landscape has improved?

I am trying to install links2 with graphics support on snow leopard 10.6.8 (xcode installed). I have had the program running last year, also installed from source - but then I had installed some image libraries with mac ports and fink - cannot reproduce that setup. Plus I would like to not... Bio::Graphics::Glyph::span - The "span" glyph
SYNOPSIS
See L<Bio::Graphics::Panel> and L<Bio::Graphics::Glyph>.
DESCRIPTION
This glyph draws a span that looks like this:
|-----------------------------|
If one or both ends go off the edges of the panel, they are truncated:
----------------------| left end off picture
|---------------------------- right end off picture
------------------------------------- both ends off picture
OPTIONS
The standard options are recognized.
