Well, knock me over with a feather. I surely didn't expect this. SCO's hearing in bankruptcy court in Delaware set for November 8 has been cancelled/postponed. Here's the notice in its entirety:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the hearing scheduled in the above-captioned case for November 8, 2010 has been cancelled. The next hearing is currently scheduled for December 1, 2010 at 10:30 a.m.
I have no idea why. Maybe they can't find a buyer? Or they can't figure out how to get past the objections. Or it could be as innocent as schedule impasse, illness. We'll have to wait to find out. No doubt we will in good time. I just hope they don't postpone until after Christmas, as that holiday never appears in SCO's calendar until after the fact.
Actually, the closing was
set for November 30th. This isn't a trick, is it? That would be so out of character for the noble SCO.
