mail: no space for temp file
I'm trying to read mail but I obtained this message:

msgcnt 2446 vxfs: mesg 001: vx_nospace - /dev/vg00/lvol4 file system full (1 block extent)
mail: no space for temp file

I want to empty my mailbox
How could I make this?

Your system administrator needs to free up some disk space. If you have files of your own on the file system which you don't need, then obviously, you can clear out those yourself.

It is necessary that system administrator free up some disk space?
I couldn't empty mailbox by myself?
Where are located mailbox files?

Try the df command to see what's mounted where. echo $MAIL should hopefully reveal where your mailbox is. Typically it's something like /var/spool/mail/you but there are many other ways to set it up, including under your home directory, or on a different server altogether.
