gengetopt problem
I'm new to the 'gengetopt' command to generate command line prompts for (in this case) a C program. I made appropriate changes to the "Makefile*" files, including the 'gengetopt < xxxxx.ggo' line in file 'Makefile.am'. But when I run 'make' at the Linux command line to build the executable, I get an error:
Makefile:259: .deps/cmdline.Po: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `.deps/cmdline.Po'. Stop.
and line 259 in 'Makefile' is:
include ./$(DEPDIR)/cmdline.Po
DEPDIR being '.deps'
I don't see anything that I haven't defined; what is it looking for? Does something need to be run before 'make' to create the '.Po' file? Thank you.
