How to Get Started on Ubuntu Desktop for the first time

Hello Everyone,

I have been using RHEL from quite a while now on server system, but now i also want to use Linux as my Desktop/Laptop OS on my personal computer. So i downloaded the Ubuntu 12.04 yeserday as i have read alot about it being the most popular Linux Desktop OS. So guys could you please refer me some Getting Started guides or Tutorials which can help me in understanding the Ubuntu so that slowly and gradually i can start doing all the things on Ubuntu that we do on Windows.

I have never used Ubuntu or for that matter any Linux Desktop OS so please consider that i am pure beginner to Ubuntu. I would graetly appericiate any help.

Thanks,
Rohit
