Question Reliable Video Editing & DVD Burning

I have just about given up trying to find a reliable package.

Imagination - Pitvi - Openshot - DVD Styler are just some of those tried, but even if success has been achieved in exporting a viable result - Brasero will not burn it this includes VOB files. It seems that there is no alternative to Brasero on UBuntu?

The end result is required for UK (PAL) 16:9 aspect ratio television playback.

So, back to Windows OS and Nero Vision Express with a limit of 99 images per project, seems to be the only way to go.

Anybody have any comments please?

Hi,
It's really a matter of preference. Don't really know when you get down to what I would say to be the most popular 5 (NEC, BenQ, Liteon, Plextor, Pioneer) that it would be very difficult to say whats BEST. Jusr a matter of what your doing with it, looking at the various forums, looking at various tests and media capabilities and choosing what best suits your needs. IMO and from my experience, I like the NEC 3500. A lot of people will agree and a lot won't. Like I said, it's preference. I often use to apply raxio creator to edit or for the purpose of DVD-brennen videos and create DVDs like a pro.
