Hi guys!
I have installed wepcrack, aircrack + channel patch and compat-wireless.
I have errors compiling mdk3 & crunch-wordlist and still have -1 channel error aircrack-ng.

Oneiric / 3.0.0-16 / intel pro/wireless 4965AGN

did you check the compatibility of your wireless card with aircrack plus if aircrack command works in a terminal then type aircrack-ng and if no interface show up its most likely not going to work unless they have created a patch for that network card. Now with the compiling I never really had to compile it. it comes pre-installed and working on both BlackBuntu and BackTrack 5. Hope I helped a little.
