Network PPPOE + Ubuntu = Frustrating

Hii everyone,

I will be explaining what kind of problem I am having with Ubuntu and PPPOE.

I have dual booted my PC with Win 7 and Ubuntu 10.10

Previously, whenever I use to start my ubuntu, internet automatically used to start up.. .no problems.
I had created a DSL connection through gnome network manager.

Now since last week, I was not able to login through pppoe in WIn 7 and Ubuntu.
I contacted my ISP who suggested to add service name while connecting to internet.I did it in WIn 7 and internet worked.

Now I tried to do the same in Ubuntu but internet didn't started. ( Sometimes though, my internet started without even logging in ).

After trying here and there, I came around with a workaround to start internet through pppoe by switching the authentication protocols ON and OFF.

eg : enabling CHAP and EAP. . .disabling PAP and MS-CHAP. . . . connection established ( internet started )

if for some reason the above config didn't worked, I tried different options

eg : enabling CHAP and PAP. . .disabling EAP and MS-CHAP. . . . connection established ( internet started )

But since yesterday, I tried all the options but nothing worked.

Looking into my message.log, I figured out this when connection was established

Code:
