Synchronizing with HTC Fuze

I have been trying to synchronise my calendar and contacts using Ubuntu and Windows Mobile on my HTC smart phone. I have read who knows how many posts, threads, blogs but still can't get this to work.

I have synce installed, when I plug in my phone it recognises the phone, and lets me view status of the phone, and browse files on the phone. I set up a partnership on Multisync using the Synce plug in and Evolution, but nothing happens. If I start Multisync using a terminal I get the following:
Code:
user@my-laptop:~$ multisync
plugin_API_version
short_name
long_name
plugin_init
Segmentation fault

And Multisync closes, if I can get multisync to stay open, clicking on the sync button does nothing at all. So, any ideas? its a big deal to me to be able to sync my calendar and contacts.

Thanks.

"segmentation fault" means it's crashing. Even abnormal input isn't supposed to make something crash in this manner, you've hit a bug in the program. Try updating to a newer version of it. Or perhaps even downgrading to an older one.

Thanks for the reply, I searched on Google and found that a bug had been created for Multisync, but so far I can't find any resolution to it. As far as I know I have the latest version, but will double check.

The annoying thing I discovered is that even though its not working, it did manage to remove all my contacts and calendar entries from my phone. Not so much of a big deal if I had backed them up first, somewhat of a big deal if I did not back them up. You can guess which of these I fall under. Smilie
