PARAMETERS
Specifies the attribute file to be closed. Specifies the entry name. Specifies the name of an attribute value. Specifies the attribute
value in the attribute list. Specifies the attribute filename. Specifies the maximum size of a record in bytes. Specifies the maximum
number of attributes per record. Points to the character name string of an attribute file structure.
DESCRIPTION
The libAF functions are provided for programs that use attribute files. These functions perform the following: Closes the specified
attribute file. Gets the attribute value matching name from the attribute list. Returns a pointer entry to the value of name. Finds the
first entry in an attribute file which has the specified name. Returns a pointer af to an attribute structure. Gets the next attribute
value from the attribute list for the specified attribute value. Returns a pointer attr to the character string of the first value in the
attribute list. Gets the next attribute from the entry list for the attribute file entry. Returns a pointer to an attribute structure.
Gets the next entry from an attribute file. Merges in any default entry that proceeds it. Returns a pointer to an attribute structure.
Gets the next attribute value from the attribute list for the current attribute. Returns a pointer to the next string value in the
attribute list. Opens the specified attribute file. Returns a pointer to an attribute file structure. Reads the next entry from an
attribute file. Fills in the current attribute table and buffer. Moves to the beginning of the specified attribute file. Sets the
default entry name for the specified attribute file.
