How to add packaged omotted in Suse10.1 that were in 10.0

I was experimenting with ZoneMinder CCTV software on Suse 10.0. After some major configuartion problems, all caused by me I eventually decided on a complete clean re-install of Suse 10.

I downloaded the new opensuse 10.1 DVD with includes all 5 of the OpenSuse10.1 CDs and the Additional Addon 6th CD.

Having re-installed using 10.1, I now discover that some packages necessary for Zoneminder are no longer included.

The full list is here and the files I need are:-

apache2-mod_php4
php4-session
mod_php4-core

Are these files version specific? Would the ones from 10.0 work with 10.1? If not where could I find the sources to re-compile to 10.1? I have downloaded the 10.0 versions from RPMFIND but am having trouble installing them, they are apparantly "delta.rpm" type, I don't know if that is why I'm having trouble? I get "ERROR" following packages haven't been found on the Medium". When I attempt to add the folder containing the packages to the YAST sources I get "Unable to create installation source from URL 'dir:////mnt/disc2/downloads/10.0rpm/.'

Does anyone have an idea what I can do to install these packages under 10.1? There are a number of new bits to 10.1 that I'd ideally like to keep if I can avaoid going back to 10.0.

Many thanks,

Mark.

If you want RPM try the 10.0 version, ask opensuse why they do not include them anymore

you can also compile it yourself: goto http://www.zoneminder.com and follow the instructions.

They have also a forum and i guess the people are more experienced than we are here.

I have been conversing on the ZoneMinder forums as well. Someone on there very helpfully showed me how to install without using the omitted package.

Thanks,

Mark.
