HCF win modem PCI card
Hey all, ive got redhat 80 and trying to install a HCF win modem. Ive intsalled the drivers from linuxant.com using the rpm - i packagename.rpm command, but i still cant use the modem

any suggestions ?

You might try another modem. Win modems are notorious for not working with Linux/Unix OS's.

The linuxant driver is a trial version.

you might to pay to obtain the full version

i have one of those modems, and i've been looking for the driver..

actually i have an Intel modem because there are a lot of drivers for linux systems

I have a modem like that;
With the linuxant drivers your connection speed cant be higher than 14.4 kb/s;
If you want to maximiza your speed you must purchase the driver or get the previous Beta version of driver included in suse linux cds or download it from web.
