Agreed. For a pc with memory o' plenty and a fast processor, KDE is visually beautiful without lacking stuff under the hood. For slower PCs, fluxbox rocks.

CPU & Memory

my computer runs KDE very well. Its a Celeron 2.0 gig with 512 MB DDR RAM and 20 Gig HD. Although KDE is pretty good, I personally prefer IceWM. If you select the overload theme, it is simply amazing. The speed is even faster and it looks just great. All the applications still run as far as I know. The only problem I have is finding a way to make IceWM always start up with the overload theme Smilie . Anyway just my two cents.
