Question 64-Bit

Hi
I would like to install Solaris on a Intel Server. How do I force the installation procedure to install the 64bit version instead the 32bit?
Thank you for help

You don't do anything to get 64 bit install. If you have a 64 bit processor you get the 64 bit parts. Not everything in 64 bit Solaris is 64 bit, for example JDS is compiled as 32 bit.

Even if you install on a 32 bit CPU, the 64 bit kernel, modules, binaries and libraries are also installed. There are no separate 32 and 64 bit distributions with Solaris. You can select what kernel (32 or 64 bit) you want to run at boot time with a 64 bit CPU.
