Ethernet Adapter Question
I have a Dual Boot system - XP with Solaris 10. I built the system from the ground up with different components and the Ethernet Card built into the Motherboard is a Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 T-base, RJ-45 Copper.

I am unable to go to the Web as the Ethernet Card is still not recognized in Solaris. If I end up installing the driver for the same, thereafter I might be able to get on the Web.

I downloaded a driver from SysKonnect but that errors out and I am unable to install or configure my Ethernet Card from Solaris 10 for Solaris.

What driver should I install and where can I possibly get it?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

this is what i found and it is reported to work...

BigAdmin - HCL: Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T Adapter

This is the official driver which apparently fails.

You might try the open-source myk driver from Free NIC drivers for Solaris
