How to change boot slot X4100?

Hi everyone,
I have a problem which looks like very simple. My SunFire X4100 have 2 disk slots: HDD0, HDD1 and 1 hard disk. I installed OS on the hard disk at HDD0 and now i want to boot it at HDD1.

When i change BIOS and begin boot at HDD1 it reset after i chose Solaris 10 at OS selecting screen.

If i chose failsafe mode, it cant boot at single mode but it can't mount the disk filesystem(c2d0). So nothing else cause i want to boot at normal mode.

I also try to edit /etc/vfstab before change from HDD0-> HDD1 to mounting root at c2d0 but get same result.

Please help me Smilie . Thank for reading!

Type format and choose the 2nd disk.
run fdisk -> type "y" to accept, then label the disk.
But I dont understand one thing. You installed OS on the 1st disk but you want to boot from 2nd disk? You mean you mirrored the disks?

nah man, HDD0, HDD1 i mean is the slot. In fact i have only one hard disk and i simply want to change the slot.

Its look like a very simple work- wow i have 2 slots, i install on one and just wanna change to the other- but i can't find how to do it although i have searched so hard on Google.

Actually i need to do this work for another purpose Smilie

You need to modify at least /etc/vfstab for the OS to know where the filesystem(s) are.

You'll also probably need to set the eeprom boot device and/or files in the /boot/solaris directory.
