In Solaris...

Have you tried giving it an address in the 192.168.1 network and setting 192.168.1.100 as the default gateway?

hi beumont,

jlliagre is correct. what output you have from ifconfig -a is a correct behavior since your D-LINK dsl modem act in bridging mode - but from the picture, still - you have to make your solaris box to be a NAT router for other LAN member (PC1 - with private IPs) can connect to the internet.

if you dont want your solaris router to have the public IP you can refer your dsl modem manual : how to make it as gateway mode.

Please post the information about from the DSL-320T (LAN and WAN IP addresses)

please see the OPs first post - he already explained it with a nice picture Smilie

and from that netstat -rn - that is very obvious the rtls1 is the WAN (modem facing) interface, and rtls0 is the LAN side. the default gateway and resolv.conf/nsswitch.conf were also correct.

all he needs to do was only NAT.
