Data Changa attribute command.

Hi all ,
plz tell the equivalent command of chattr ( linux ) in solaris?

Solaris supports extended file attributes, but there are no user level commands for setting or changing them, and even the chatr command in HP-UX, and chattr in AIX have unrelated functions. The API for using those attributes is documented in the fsattr(5) man listing.

Data can u use this fsatrr in place of chattr ?

can fsattr can be used in place of chattr ???

I have personally not used it. Check out the man page for fsattr , if that helps.. sorry Smilie
