The warnings should not matter as far as sending mail is concerned, it's complaining that some files in the directory tree cannot be changed but as long as the permissions on the directory are fixed, that should solve the immediate problem you were having with Sendmail. (You might want to examine test and x.3 and p1, maybe they are broken symbolic links or maybe they are actually files somebody else managed to put there because your home directory was not adequately protected)
