Windows AD for Sun Solaris Servers

Hi All

I have a few sun servers(5.9) on xyz.com domain.
I have to integrate these servers with the Windows AD of another domain, say abc.com. My sun servers should use the AD of abc.com for user authentication.

I am thinking of implementing NIS. But not too sure whether it will work. Can anybody help me out please

Thanks-in-advance

It is possible to join Windows with Solaris or any other unix flavour with the help of samba server. Samba should be loaded on unix server.configuration (samba passwd file) is much easier and few steps solution.
samba is availabe on Samba -- Opening Windows to a Wider World.
it is free for all os.

Dear Ikon and Incredible,

Thanks for ur Inputs.
I think Quest Software is licensed/chargeable,which currently is not possible in my setup. So i would have to rule that out.
I still have to understand how to do that through Samba...Would apprecaite if you could pass on any Docs on that.

Thanks
