revzalot - i'm looking at the output of exactly what you want. however, the script is MASSIVE. its one big nawk statement. so its possible... sorry this isn't much help i know.

it would take me awhile to parse through it to figure it out but i just don't have the time right now.

maybe you can do ifconfig as well to see which interfaces are plumbed up. Then you compare against the prtconf -D|grep network and see which instances are not plumbed (and you can use them)

i think he is looking for more then just the network interfaces. i think hes looking for all the pci slots and such.

Help! Moving HBA cards to different slots

Due to speed mismatch, the server kept crashing. Sun suggests that I need to move the two HBA cards from the 66Mhz to the 33Mhz slots.
