ok i followed or your recommandations and read all man ... , so at the end, my i have to follow theses steps:

step1:
crontab -e
to create and edite the file crontab which is under
/var/spool/cron/crontabs/root (lets assum in this case that i'm
root user)

step2:
*/15 23:30-03:30 * * * df -k>>/tmp/diskspace

Thats all !!!

correct me if something is wrong (specially for 23:30-03:30)

this just to inform you that i made crontab and script .sh for my job, but unfortunately it works only for one time and i need to fix this pb, please your help is really very needed , belowyo can find what i performed :

1-creation of script "monitoring" using vi:

root#more /export/home/superuser/monitoring.sh
date;
df -k;
root#chmod 755 monitoring

2-creation of crontab:
root#more /var/spool/cron/crontab/root
5/* 1,2,3,4 * * * /export/home/superuser/monitoring.sh >> /tmp/Output.txt > /dev/null 2>&1

if something is wrong, pls tell me!!!!
do I need to restart daemonf of crontab ? if yes, which impact on the system i'll have and how long time it will take for restart?

How i'll restarted?
/etc/cron.d stop !!!!
/etc/cron.d start !!!!

Please, it's really very urgent !!!

and there is no need to restart cron if you edit it via "crontab -e".

try to start the script every minute by cron... just for testing. delete the >> and > to see possible error messages.
