Do you know the tool gstrip for Solaris? How can I get it into my system.
uname -a gives:
System = SunOS
Release = 5.8
KernelID = Generic_108528-29
Machine = sun4u
OEM# = 0
Origin# = 1
NumCPU = 6

gstrip is part of the binutils package.
Try downloading from Sunfreeware for Solaris 8.

what is gstrip?

i'm actually afraid to look that up on my work computer. hahaha.

gstrip like a strip. I need to strip binaries, but the system strip does not do it perfectly.
