help needed in creating an image from a 7za compressed file

Hi all,

I have been working on a few files that have been 7za compressed.(which are a part of an OS)
Now after extracting the file and doing manipulations i did a putback.
But when i create an image and burn it onto the disk to check if my changes are working...
I get error at boot time.
Now i am very sure that there are no syntax errors in my scripts nor there is an error in compression.
so the remaining culprits could be the way i am making the ISO or the way i am buring the iso onto the disk..

So could anyone pleas help me in creating an iso that is specifically meant for 7za compression.
I once again confirm to you that there is no issues with my scripts or the way i compress it and do a putback

this is the command i use to make the iso
mkisofs -o image.iso -b boot/grub/stage2_eltorito -c .catalog -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -N -l -R -U -allow-multidot -no-iso-translate -cache-inodes -d -D -V "My folder" <directory>

this is what i use to burn the iso onto the disk
cdrw -iC image.iso
