help about time and date on sparcstation

Hi all,
I have one problem on my sparcstation20, time stops when I turn off my station, where is the problem? do u think is the NVRAM is crashed? ( for example, I turn off my station at 11:00, when I turn on the next day, I found time on 22:20)!!!
please help me thank's for All

It's probably the internal battery for the NVRAM which is at fault. Replacing it now is probably not feasible in terms of parts, and I'm guessing the time is always slow after a power-cycle. So the simplest thing is probably to put in an init script to fix the date/time when the server is coming up for example by running ntpdate towards an ntp server.

Why do you want to do this (esp. if you do not seem to be familiar with it)?

What do you _really_ want to do?

Saving ethernet adress is essential. Rest can be resetted do default values (as long as you can still access openbootpromt or have equipment to flash the chip).

i WANT TO DO THIS BECAUSE DATE TIME IS NOT WORKING ON MY SPARSTATION ( WHEN I TURN OFF MY SPARCSTATION FOR EXAMPLE ON 11:00 THE NEXT DAY WHEN I TURN ON? THE TIME IS 22:00 ) IT MEANS, THE CLOC IS WORKING ABOUT 11 HOURS AND STAOPS §§)

No, unfortunately not. You'd at least need network access to another machine to do that and 2.5 didn't have ntpdate.
