How to lauch KDE on solaris?

Hi all,
With the internet setup, i just installed kde 3.5.8..
I am not all that familiar with it , so could anyone tell me how to lauch kde from solaris (b-79a)
I can access everything ,like konsole, konqueror and such things...
but at the login screen it still is GNOME or CDE, i dont have KDE option at all..
How do i get it??

non root user can't shutdown

i already create a user on my sun solaris 10, but its can't shutdown from that user.i must using su root and entering root password to shut down my solaris and i will not give another user my root password.i read on this forum about shutdown script n shutdown user but i dont totaly understands about that. i think i need steps by steps howto for that coz i am a beginner on unix solaris.....
