Error Please Help!!!!!!
Ok, thanks guys for the help. Now the route table I posted was a typo the default was 192.168.0.1Smilie I deleted the resolv.conf file rebooted the box and I am still getting no answer from 192.168.0.1

What do you mean by "still getting no answer?" Do you mean you can't ping it?
You need to be more specificas to what you are doing.

Go ahead and try pinging 192.168.0.1 from the Sol8 box and post what the reply is.

When I ping 192.168.0.1 I get no reply, I can't ping it or .2 During this time I was down (last night) I installed Solaris 10 on the machine and its the same outcome.SmilieSmilie

maybe there are autoneg problems with your switch... use this script:

to tune your nic settings. read the first few lines!
