if you have any mechanism(like snapshot) to take the back up of a filesystem, check at the the mountpoint of filesystem for ".snapshot" directory.

Otherwise, contact administrator to see if any back up of the filesystem is available

Hi,

I am using a solaris 9.0 machine, i already checked the /mnt folder for the snapshot.txt file. There seems to be no such file!! Does it mean i have no chance of recovery?
