First check that you are entering the correct username and password. If they are okay then one of two things may have happened: if COPPA support is enabled and you clicked the I am under 13 years old link while registering then you will have to follow the instructions you received. ... If you are sure the email address you used is valid then try contacting the board administrator.

Excerpt from the FAQ at virtualbox.com
An email address for the board administrator was provided as info@virtualbox.org

My suggestion would be to try to make that contact, explaining the situation with the registration problem. Often the only action that you are prevented from taking at such forums is posting messages. You should be able to read posts, but I am not sure how they have set up the rules for searching and other activities.

Best wishes ... cheers, drl

I registered to this VirtualBox forum a few days ago and the process was seamless and straighforward.

I didn't check the I'm under 13 years old as I'm not. I guess you did check that box by mistake.

Thanks jlliagre

I will make another attempt later on.

I must go to the gym now.

I can't skip the training. I will try using some other email address and user other user name.

It is possible that I inadvertently mark as an under age person.

Jlliagre

Now I did it again and told them I am over 13 years.
They said I would receive a message.

I am waiting a message from them. Without the message I will not be able to go ahead with their forum activities.

On the other hand it is possible to check my ip address.

If they found the previous underage registration had the same ip address, it is
possible for them not to log in to the system. They might think I am a crook as I made different attempts to log in.
