On Solaris 8, i used the PPP facility to connect to my ISP
Then created a script that used the at comamands to dial & disconect to demon
If you want a copy of the script just ask

As for Vista, if your refering to dual-boot on a x86, then you need to install Vista first then Solaris (in a seperate partition), then finger-crossed.
That's because solaris (10) uses a boot loader called GRUB, which may or
may not recognise the NTFS partiton of Vista - it usually does bet very often doens't.
If all goes well, the next time you start your system you will be presented with a menu on which system to boot from, 2 option for Solaris & one for DOS-Compatible or Windows which actually refer to VISTA

If anything i have said sound crazy then you need to hit the Unix for Dummies book, the google for 'Dual-Boot Soalris VISTA'

After the initial screen, the boot selection window only displays Solaris (x86) and Solaris Failsafe, nothing else. For the dial-up, I would like a copy of the script, and if you don't mind the instructions on how to use it.

Thanks for the help.

You could try asking Moinak Ghosh on the opensolaris desktop discussion list about dual boot. I remember some posts about that from about 6 months ago.
