Disks compatibility

Hi all,

I am trying to isntall veritas replicator on 2 DA 3000 storage , But with little luck . I am running a solaris 10 and vsf 4.1, Veritas Volume Replicator Option 4.1

My question is that :

when i got the array i had 2 disks missing , So we had to replace them , but I found out that the disk brands are not matching :

server 1:
4. c2t5d0 <SEAGATE-ST314670LSUN146G-045A cyl 14087 alt 2 hd 24 sec 848>
5. c2t8d0 <HITACHI-HUS10143ASUN146G-PA05 cyl 14087 alt 2 hd 24 sec 848> ................
........

server 2:
9. c2t12d0 <HITACHI-HUS10143ASUN146G-PA05 cyl 14087 alt 2 hd 24 sec 848>
10. c2t13d0 <FUJITSU-MAW3147NCSUN146G-1703 cyl 14087 alt 2 hd 24 sec 848>

As u can see above that i have disks of different brands .
After i finished the installation i found that the dgs are not shared althought they were created as shared .

Could mixing brands of disks under volume replicator causes a pb ???

Thanks a lot

Cheers
