The Mystery Directory

Hello Everyone,

I am currently running a large Server with Veritas Volumen Manager, attached to a EMC.

uname -a
SunOS 5.8 Generic_117350-47 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-880

I have one directory that tends to change to a file.Once in a while and always in different time. The file is the same name as the directory but my directory is gone ;8 what could cause this?

I have check for messages on the system side and found nothing. One Tip I could give is that the Directory is soft linked from different areas.

Check all scripts that are referring to this directory. The fact that the directory gets soft linked - pretty much sure that a script is responsible.
