how to ufsrestore root drive then activate disksuite

I restored a backup of a root drive to a new disk on Solaris 8 which contained a fully functioning disksuite 4.2.1 mirror configuration. The backup is from an identical system and OS. I want to install a second identical disk and recover the mirror configuration. The root disk is up but functioning as a single drive because I restored the original non-disksuite vfstab and system files.

What do I need to do to reactivate disksuite and begin mirroring. The md.tab file is empty and below is the md.cf file.

This was the command I used to create the replicas originally.

metadb -a -f -c3 c0t0d0s7 c0t1d0s7

If I can't recover, can I just start over?

Thanks

Functioning mirror

If you have a functioning mirror, can't you just do a metareplace?

what's your current working disk?

you say here :

metadb -a -f -c3 c0t0d0s7 c0t1d0s7

but here:
d0 -m d1 d2 1
d1 1 1 c1t0d0s0
d2 1 1 c1t2d0s0

you could post a "echo | format" output, so we could see your internal disks....
