Network Remote CD woes

Good Day,

I've remotely mounted a cdrom (no problems theere). The kicker is I can see the directories on the remote CD bout I can't see the files. What am I doing wrong? I'm logged in as root on both systems. All the permissions seem okay - what am I missing? Thanks

Root login often doesn't mean anything on a NFS mounted filesystem. On the NFS server (where the CD is actually mounted), have you given root rights to the client for the share? You do this using "-o root=client_system_name" option when you share the filesystem.
