Scripting for SCCLI

Dear all,

I need to write a small automated script:

firstly that should run the command sccli
when that is run the command prompt changes to
sccli>
Now we have to issue the following commands to it

sccli>show disks

sccli>show ld

sccli> exit

after that the script shoud end.

Kindly give a clue in this regard,

Thanks

You could try this:
Code:
sccli <<EOF
show disks
show ld
exit
EOF

Otherwise, check the sccli command to see if it has any options that will cause it to read the input from a file instead of the command line.

Thanks it worked!

now if we to telnet a computer (for instance 172.50.12.5) and then want to send commands to the prompt

Enter command: GET:NUMBER,9251123;
Enter command: SET:NUMBER,9251124;

How would we do that?

Output is similar to below:
Trying 172.50.12.5
Connected to 172.50.12.5
Escape character is '^]'.
CONNECTING TO CAI...
PROCESS cai3300 CONNECTED...
