Date Automatic Change

Dear All,

I have Solaris that using for BSS monitoring and BTS collect Data (alarm,status,statistics..etc) this server always on.
But For 2 Weeks ago I have problem with date there is always different 1 hours (minus 1 hour with actual time).
I'm already change to actual time, but when I check next day the time different 1 hour again . That make my data collect wrong.
This server connect to other area that different 1 hour with my location.
There is cause by using NTP server ?
if yes how I can find my system using NTP server and how to cancel that?

Thank you,

Regards,

Heru

I'm not sure to understand your problem description but I'm afraid your are confusing system time, which is usually Universal time (aka GMT) and displayed time (aka local time) which is process dependant. Have a look at the TZ variable.

About configuring ntp, that depends on the Solaris release.
