Hi,
I am having a strange issue with CVS. The output shows that there is not enough space for the .cvspass.
the .cvspass is in the users home dir, which has 4GB available.
Error Message:
cvs status: cannot read /home/<user>/.cvspass: Not enough space

In generally I use vsftp but I want to improve our security so I decide to use sftp instead of vsftp.
We know that ssh,scp and sftp are in openssh server.
How can I lock only sftp user to their home folder? And to prevent some users for sftp like root as such in vsftp daemon? (3 Replies)

Hi all,
I have to test some user priviliges. The goal is to be sure that an unauthorized user can't restart some modules (ssh, mysql etc...).
I'm trying to automate it with a shell script but in same cases I got the syslog broadcast message.

Hi friends,
I must to give ssh connection to own customer.
So I want to lock ssh user on own home directory. It is not necessery to reach other folders. I know that ftp user can lock on own folder but I don't know how to lock ssh user.

CVS repository is setup on linux server and we are using wincvs to checkout/tag .. etc but we are getting below lock error so how to remove this lock and what is the reason for lock??
