Sendmail [279] [ID 702911 mail.alert] ERROR!!!

Why do I heep getting this error:

Sun Microsystems Inc. SunOS 5.10 Generic January 2005
# Dec 13 09:26:19 SunServ sendmail[279]: [ID 702911 mail.alert] unable to qualif

Dec 13 09:26:19 SunServ sendmail[278]: [ID 702911 mail.alert] unable to qualify
my own domain name (SunServ) -- using short name
I do have another domain name on the network "ciscolab.com" And it is a windows server.

It says that its unable to qualify its own domain name using short name. I believe this is DNS related. Add the hostname to your DNS server and see if that resolves the issue.

I don't have a personal DNS server nor do I have access to it.

Add "mailhost" (without the quotes) in /etc/hosts right after loghost.

Do I put it right after in a new line or after the word? Do I put a space inbetween the word?

Right after loghost. Use a tab to spce it

Code:
192.168.1.10 loghost mailhost
