Hi,

I'm trying to log in with SSH to my Solaris 10 machine but I can't seem to get it working. I've typed ssh xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx in the terminal (bash) but i keep getting this message "Permission denied (gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic,publickey,keyboard-interactive".

How can i resolve this?

Type in the right password? Smilie

Can you telnet to the system? What does the ssh log (/var/adm/auth.log perhaps) show on the server? What's the output of ssh -v xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx? Do you have an account on the target server? Is it set up right, home dir owned by your account? Has it worked before?

I now realise what I was doing wrong.....basically I didn't enter my user name in the ssh command i.e. I should have enter ssh everett@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx but i forgot to put in the user name.

ssh <hostname> -l <username> should also work.
