Determine last reboot when wtmp broken

Hi - How can I determine the time my system was last booted when my "wtmp" file is broken? (It is being cleaned out incorrectly, I'mm working on that issue)

ie
uptime shows invalid details and who -b shows "nothing at all"
is there a shutdown log somewhere that may indicat the last re-boot?

init (pid 1) is started at boot time and will run until shutdown. So look at the start time of pid 1.

Hi, Thanks, not really sure?
Looked at pid's running and PID1 "Oct 25" (I guess 2005 or maybe 2004???) also
PID for "cron" which starts up at boot time shows "Aug 5" ???

Currently looking through startup scripts in rc(n).d to see if theres a log entry with a dat time some where....

Any more ideas would be great....

Hi Perderabo - I am going to take it as date for PID 1 and as of last year..
Cron may have started up manually anytime a change may have taken place...

Thanks for your help
I going to re-boot the server to "flush" logs and get things right with the box...
