VNC Installation

Hi,

I would like to install VNC on my Solaris 6/10 x86 machine. Can someone walk me thru it step by step? I'm very new to Solaris and I would like to get this running ASAP for school so I can VNC into it and use it remotely. I have serached online but the information is so abundant. I don't know where to start. Thanks in advanced.

why vnc? ssh should work out of the box and you can do everything via ssh.... but if vnc is what you want and need got to:

www.blastwave.org

and install "pkg-get" (http://www.blastwave.org/pkg-get.php) a tool to install software in a linux way.... like debians apt-get. You can get the package also direct:
http://www.blastwave.org/packages.php/vncserver
and install the package via "pkgadd" ("man pkgadd" for questions about that) but you should go for pkg-get cause its easy to use and solves package dependencies!
