Is the /usr a seperate filesystem? If it is, looks like that filesystem is shot. No libraries are available and fsck uses four of them (on my Sun5.8 atleast).
Code:
ldd /usr/sbin/fsck
        libcmd.so.1 =>   /usr/lib/libcmd.so.1
        libdl.so.1 =>    /usr/lib/libdl.so.1
        libc.so.1 =>     /usr/lib/libc.so.1
        /usr/platform/SUNW,Ultra-Enterprise/lib/libc_psr.so.1

I suggest booting from a cd and running fsck on the /, /usr, /var filesystems.

I thought that Sun would make fsck a statically linked binary...

You say is a new system, and I see the boot forceload failures of a mirrorred file system.
Did you mirror the system? Did it boot up before? Sounds to me that something went wrong when mirroring.

Infact, forget mirrorring. Something possibly got screwed up while installing solstice.

..

You can break the mirror and boot via secondary disk, Check out the below link..
