Hello,
Due to one of the storage issue, one of the zone have many services in uninitialized state. I tried to detach/attach zone, but it doesn't help. Possibly, I am not able to get correct service which should be made online first.
Please check and help, what I am supposed to fix here
Thanks
But you issued zlogin <zone>, not zlogin -C <zone>
Please issue with -C.
Did you have disk full on global zone and all the zones in one point of time ?
I've seen zones on attach required to be configured again (just hostname and stuff, like building a new zone)
So in that case when using zlogin, you will login to unconfigured zone with most of services stopped.
After configuring with console access -C, stuff worked.
But it was year ago since i last used Solaris systems so i could be dead wrong.
I tried -C as well but it didn't work.
I did attach and detach too earlier, but no luck
------------
Issue fixed : Had to restore SVC with /lib/svc/bin/restore_repository and select -seed- and that fixed the issue

Hi, hoping someone can help, its been a while since I used Solaris.
After creating a NGZ (non global zone), the NGZ can access the GZ (Global Zone) and the GZ can access the NGZ (using ssh, zlogin)
However, the NGZ cannot access any other netwqork devices, it can't even see the default router

recently, I migrated a solaris zone from one host to another. The zone was inside of a zpool. The zpool cotains two volumes.
I did the following:
host1:
$ zlogin zone1 shutdown -y -g0 -i0 #Zone status changes from running to installed
$ zpool export zone1
host2:
$ zpool... (2 Replies)
